Leds on side view mirrors?

What do you guys think of this?
I Was watching some video on YouTube about the drift scene in Japan. Then i saw this s15, With lights on the side view mirror. I never seen this before besides the amber lights.

I'm always trying to find things that I never seen before to do to my car and this looks pretty cool. I would want to do something similar to this.
The only way I can think of doing this is by taking the side view mirror and cutting a hole the same size as some ebay led fogs.

But I'm not sure if I would have enough space.
