You don't think it looks cheap? I mean, it looks like someone at Midas made that exhaust pipe out of junk metal and duct taped it to the underside of the fender.

It's exhaust, it gets dirty. Especially ones directly behind the tires. I gave up on cleaning my exhaust tips because my tire flings everything at the tips. And it looks a lot cleaner than most "show cars'" exhaust I see.

It just seems to me that the guy spent some good coin on getting the car this way, but the exhaust looks horrible. I know he's trying to keep it as close to factory as it was. I'm not expecting some stainless 3" tipped pipes.

I think they just got super busy with projects and hunkered down. I had them liked and was following them on FB but apparently I am no longer. They have a bunch of recent posts.

I'm friends with the guys daughter on FB... She has a sweet 3rd gen.

Schwartz still seems really active, at least from observing their Facebook. That third gen at the Camaro club's auto show booth was one of theirs.

Needs more mini-tub. The rear wheel width to offset ratio looks weird. Like the wheel and tire isn't wide enough to need those ricey flares.

They ruined that car IMO. My dad has had a few of these cars that we were restoring. This one just was not built to my style. We were also doing a turbo LS but it was going to look more like the Year one car. Now that car is clean. I stayed at the the same hotel with the year one guys and we did the hot rod power tour together few years back with this trans am. LS7 motor with a T-56 6-speed. It was pure badass.
