Thinking about changing out the stock on an '11 Tahoe, couple extra MPG would be nice

my 2007 Chevy Tahoe with a Borla performance cat back exhaust system and a K&N 77 Cold Air intake, gas mileage went from 12.5 to 13.8 in the city and 14.2 to 18.3 on the highway

I went through like 5 different exhaust/header setups on my 02 Silverado. The sound I liked best was stock manifolds, cats, resonator, with the muffler deleted and it dumped under the bed. lol Once I did headers with 3" back to any muffler setup I could not lose the drone at highway speeds without losing the deep nice tones at lower rpms. It sucks after spending like $3k on exhaust stuff and wishing you never went past the sawz-alled off stock junk.

That's all I have ever done for my cars/trucks. LT's no cats and stock cat back.

I did an Aero Turbine 3030XL Weld-In muffler with stock exhaust on my '11 Sierra. Sounded great, but, I didn't have a fancy tip or anything.
