Anyway to repair plastic thermostat housing crack?

I was replacing the thermostat in my '06 Saab 9-3 2.0T today and when I was reinstalling the housing, the corner of the housing cracked. I know this operates in a high pressure and hot environment, but is there a way to fix the crack? Prices and shipping time for a new one are tough to swallow...

If not, I'll just order the part.

Damn, I read on the saab forums these are prone to cracking . I'd buy a used one of a junker car and be super gentle torquing it down

Used to see it a lot on a couple Mazda's. Improper torquing and/or pinching something, brittle from age, etc.

Don't fuck around with it, just replace it.

have you checked ebay? $70 with free shipping (part located in the US) seems to be the norm. that's not too bad, considering the car
personally i wouldnt fuck with it, just replace. chances are whatever you try isnt going to seal anyway
