Shop put petroleum based grease in my LCA's

I installed my BMR suspension parts last night, and took it to a shop to have it all snugged down, since I don't have an impact gun. Long story short, they did snug everything down, but added petroleum grease to (my already properly greased) control arms and panhard bar. Exactly how fucked am I?

They initially wanted me to pay for more labor, and I told them to fuck right off, since I never wanted them to do that in the first place, I specifically said "Just tighten everything down to these specs". Their plan of action is to pump more synthetic grease through the fittings to flush out the shitty stuff. I have my doubts about this whole thing.

take it off and clean it up, re grease. or flush it out like they talked about. Not a big deal. It doesnt instantly eat up poly bushings. Its going to take months and months of sitting in there to do any damage, maybe longer

What I have been running for 7 years for home use. Tried a cheaper one and it wouldn't remove a lot of stuff.

I have the non-muffled version (1000ft/lbs) of that gun and use it professionally every day for about 7-8 years and can tell you it is a monster.

You don't need an impact gun for that. Just buy a cheaper torque wrench. That is what I have used several times for my BMR stuff. No problems in the years I have had it. I also used that mobile 1 synthetic grease...not one noise yet.

That is most likely true... I just like manually torquing things. I have used my torque wrench way more than I thought I would though. Not everything needs an impact gun, but you can use a torque wrench on a lot of things.
