Think I read on CF that boost was stock. Also reading that Lingenfelter is swapping in a 2.3L Edelbrock SC bumping hp by 100hp just doing that. Honestly, those waxers on CF are just hysterical that the Z06 doesn't outrun the SR-71 on land. It's absolutely ridiculous. This is a great car. And they're just getting started w it.

Those waxers on CF were expecting God like performance, just like the rest of us, and instead they've been given marginal performance over the outgoing c6Z.

First we're told the car isn't made to go in a straight line, it's made for the track, and that's where it'll shine.

Then a comparo comes out and the z06 is beaten by a Nismo GTR! Now the Nismo GTR isn't exactly a slouch, but I don't think anybody expected it to beat a Z06 after Chevy hasn't shut up about how fast the Z06 is on a track.

To me that's not real street racing. That is street prepped race. Look at the tire marks, and I bet they were putting sticky compound. Street racing is...No laid down rubber strips, no VHT, nothing. Burnouts honestly aren't really street racing in my opinion. When you comes to a stop light. Do you always stop 60 feet back to do a burnout ?

Even then, the new C7 is street form (not setup like a drag car) will never do low 9s... It's just not possible with the weight distribution and suspension height and minimum rim size. If you look at a drag prepped Vette on a prepped surface and a good burnout, then yes...
