This shows the hellcat in action in the wild, the first recorded kill, was of a c7 zo6 corvette on the streets of Texas. What are y'alls thoughts on this race? We re-matched 4 times...all with the same outcome. What car would you rather have now????

NEW DOGE HELLCAT VS 2004 COBRA with a 2.9 Whipple
Looks to me like once the Z caught some traction it would stay w the HC. On CF, the driver of the Z posted he was getting no traction on cold tires. Show me both these cars circling Laguna Seca or something and then let's talk. This straight line stuff is not what the Z was optimized for. Apparently, there's another vid showing a Z besting the HC.
I have been very unimpressed by the C7 Z. I know a bolt-on C6 Z would hand a whipple Cobra it's ass so what gives? Maybe it needs to be broken in? All I know is if I was the dude in the Z, I would be pissed.

Must be heat soak because I'm not buying that down force bullshit. It shouldn't slow the car down that much to have a 100 less HP car beat it from a roll (C6 Z).
Would rather have the vette.
Has good power, great handling, excellent brakes and even gets good gas mileage.
It's a complete package and not just straight line performance.
I would take the charger, if it came in a manual.
