Shipping a car..

Anybody have any experience with this? I would like to ship my Camaro to Texas but I'm a complete newb to the process. Any help or advice is appreciated. My wife came up with some $700 quote but cant remember what company it was lol is that too much?

When I sold my Saleen this co picked it up and they were top notch from what the owner said. they would give a day by day email letting him know were the car was. Most co will be $700 on up for shipping. There were Ferrari's, vettes and a two benzo on the semi when I looked in.

I think I shipped my car using UShip. They blast your info out to a bunch of different companies and you get buried in emails. Ultimately I paid $1000 from Chicago to LA which I thought was really fair.

The buyer of the Daytona had it shipped to Detroit suburbs for $300.

So I could see how $700 isn't terrible...

I agree. Make sure you do your research. I've had some bad luck getting a car shipped. If the above poster said you get daily updates I think it's well worth it.

Awesome guys thanks. I dont feel like im completely in the dark now. I was thinking of selling it and just going fbody hunting when I got there but thats a tough call seeing as i JUST painted it and it has no driving issues
