Also the gas gauge doesn't work, I try to put in an aftermarket gas gauge sender and reader in there GM style sender and reader. And hydraulic clutch pedal is very low.

:wtf:  so many different cars and parts...

Merkur is a brand that Ford created, back in the late 80's as a sort of "European" brand. There was the XR4Ti and a Scorpio, neither of which sold well. The XR4Ti was a Ford Sierra from Europe, but instead of the awesome DOHC 2.0 I4 Turbo from the Sierra Cosworth in Europe, we got the Pinto based 2.3 SOHC Turbo from the SVO and Thunderbird TC, but without the intercooler.

Also that's an older 3.2 SHO motor. It looks odd because there is no timing covers and there is a custom upper intake manifold instead of the bundle of snakes of the original

Hey, that is a unique engine with twin turbos and an intercooler added, installed RWD after being design for FWD, into a rare Ford European import to make a true 1-of-a-kind street car. Congratulations on the engineering and fab work. Doing something like this that no one has ever done before is something you should be very proud of yourself.

Now, to be truthful, we put a 3.0L SHO into a 1986 Merkur XR4TI with a T-5 in 1990 with EEC IV. The install was done by Roush in Livonia, MI. It was white with gold BBS wheels, and the install looked factory. After a lot of positive reaction within Ford, it went to Ford of Europe in Germany for evaluation. Shortly after arriving, we were told it caught fire and burned and was scrapped. Some time later we learned that it was parked in a garage where another European Ford test car caught fire and caused serious damage to 5 other cars.

I always wanted to build another one. So "Congrats" to you for having done one, and with twin turbos to boot!
