Daily Dilemma

I want a fun daily that can serve me through all four seasons of our wonderful Chicago weather.

I have arrived at Mazdaspeed6 and Chevy Cobalt SS turbo.

Just looking for something that is fairly reliable and mildly fuel efficient. It seems that the LNF powered Cobalt beats the MS6 in those respects. However, the MS6 in GT trim is luxurious and carries with it an interior that is actually a nice place to be, versus the Cobalt which is standard GM fare.

Would appreciate any input from you guys.

That's what I'm swaying towards as well. As nice of a car as the MS6 is, I can't find any clean ones around the area in GT trim.

I wish I could just fuck it and buy a LS1 Trans Am. Damn you winter.

snow tires FTW. I was plowing snow with my car almost all the time in this video. I actually had to stop to clear the snow out of the radiator because it was starting to overheat.. lol.

I daily drove a 370z this winter with snow tires. And have a driveway that goes up and turns a decent amount. Didn't get stuck once.

Luckily I can actually find fourth gens, finding a decent Grand Touring MS6 in the Midwest has proven impossible.

No MS3s for me. I was never really a fan, particularly of the first gens.

Subies are out too. My heart says yes, my brains says I don't have the money for rebuilding the motor at 300 wheel.

BMWs are reliable, and you can fix them in your driveway or garage. This stereotype about German cars needs to go away. You can fix a Ferrari or Gallardo in your garage.

i just did a head gasket and turbo on the wifes 2010 audi a4 in my garage in 5 hours 650 for the turbo headgasket, headbolts, gaskets, waterpump, timing belt was not a big deal at all on the 2.0t engine if you can think past the omg its a audi/vw and its impossible to work on your fine
