stock block?
i only ask because Eagle says gt500 block is only good for 800 whp. if that is the case then 5.0>5.8

This motor will(should) rock all at this boost/power. My stock boss motor ran 12 psi all day with 11:1 and factory parts. On scales a 3700lb car, rwd, m6 and 800rwhp is plenty to throw the family in and cruise to Florida with the AC on. However, I built this motor to go 20-25psi on c16
Will kick it to 20. If everything looks good, then throw few more. If that looks good to the moon.
Motor should be able to handle 1500hp. So 1276rwhp is good with me.
Benefits of the Boss block in addition to four-bolt mains:
Cast of higher nodular iron, with thicker cylinder walls.
'69 Boss crank is cross-drilled steel (best). The '70 was a steel crank, but not coss-drilled (two oil holes per throw).
Boss rods were 3/8" diameter bolts compared to 5/16" (weak point) on all other blocks.
People think this engine is stock. It's just not. No way.
Oh wait...the BOSS uses a 302, doesnt it? Or is it just the nameplate.
The 19-inch black-alloy racing wheels are 9-inches wide up front and 9.5-inches out back and come fitted with 255/40-19 (front) and 285/35-19 (rear) Pirelli P-Zero tires.
New Sleeved
Oliver rods
Diamond pistons 10:1
Arp everything
Head cool mod
Forged boss crank
Billet oil pump gears
Big valve springs
Yes the Roadrunner is basically a Coyote with improved flow and internals.
And I will probably be chastised if I missed anything else that is different between them.
They're 9" and 9.5" respectively? Huh, I thought they were 8.5 and 9.5. Learn something new every day.
Also, the "boss block" is much better than a regular 5.0 block:
