Little help on interior light wiring!

Ok, so I want to put some interior leds on my car. I was planning on just wiring them to the cigarette lighter. But then I don't want them to be on all the time.

So how do you install a toggle switch?

Do I just wire the power cable or what ever of the leds to one end of the switch, and the cigarette lighter cable to the other end? Or is their something else to it? I don't wanna Fuck shit up lol

Pretty much what you said. There's not that much current in LED's so you dont need a relay or a heavy duty switch.
