Hello forum!

This poll is beacuse it kinda bother me that Toyota wants to make the Tundra look like if it was American, I guy at work told me that Tundras are made in Texas, I dont know that for sure but to me it is still Japanese, I mean Tundras are good and I don't want to sound communist but the Toyota name in it kills me, if it had a Dodge decal on it I would love it.

What would to buy? (Assuming that you don't have either)

If you have one of them, why did you choose it?

I LOVED my Tundra. The ONLY reason we had to get rid of it was child number 3 at home, 2 in car seats. It worked, but it just wasn't practical. My poor big girl always in the middle. Needed a third row. However, DON'T miss that gas mileage, but I guess the new ones have improved on it, but then again, it was a 5.7 V8. That bitch had power and WAS intimidating. Towed a lot. Bwahahaha, once I figured it out. Right TCG guys? (Inside joke from Cordova)

I would do a Tundra. I can get it supercharged just like the Tacoma and keep the factory warranty. I would have spend more on the Tundra than I did on the Tacoma with the Supercharger.

What ya going to do when the cam breaks in half? Or the seat heaters light the truck on fire? Or the tailgate falls off?:hsughlol:

The reason I'd still buy american is the fact that the money stays here

Tundras are junk.

Smog/air pumps go out frequently.

If you dont do the proper procedure when switching from 87 to e85, the computer will go haywire, default to safe mode and only way to fix is completely reflash the whole truck...not under warranty.

Brakes dont last as long as other available trucks.

Eats through steering racks.

Doesnt have as much power as comparable models.

Tows less than comparable models.

Its huge over all. Damn near as big as a 3/4 ton but has less ground clearance than a chevy.

Very common to have a seat frame break.

And im sure theres more i cant remember.
