Folex works the best. You can get it in the carpet cleaner isle at home depot

You can clean carpet using Dawn dish soap.

I normally get a stiff bristle brush, and mix carpet shampoo and fabrese in a spray bottle with water, soak the carpet with it scrub the fuck out of it and shop vac it up

degreaser diluted with water takes a lot of shit out of carpet when you scrub the fuck out of it.

This is usually the best method for cleaning carpets at home. Its a pain but works.

the carpet cleaning solution from Bissell ( available at target ) works well.
i too have used a degreaser dulited with water ( purple power @ Walmart doesnt have the stink that Simple Green has )

woolite diluted 20:1 can be used for cloth seats and dash / interior panels.
if you choose to clean the seats and carpets with woolite, be careful not to agitate it to aggresively, you do not want to build up/ create soapy suds.

not to mention the woolite smells the best
