I have a friend that is looking to buy a new vehicle.
Here is the wish list:
SUV
Used
$16,000
4WD or AWD
Massaging Seats no required, aka he doesn't need anything fancy.
He used to roll in a Crew Cab 4x4 Dakota. He just had his first kid and their other car is a Ford Fusion. He works in the trades installing HVAC, but doesn't need the vehicle to do his job.
Ready... GO!
Thanks,
John
EDIT: Less than 100k for sure. City mpg would have to be at least 15, and not what the EPA says, real world. And probably within 6 years. Though flexible, aka it can be older if super low miles.
How important is gas mileage? I'd middle of the pack. He drives a bit for work, but understands that you cannot have utility and get excellent gas mileage. Also he isn't a DIY guy when it comes to cars so something that isn't expensive to maintain and is reliable are important.
Speed is not a factor, as long as it can handle an on-ramp it is fast enough.
Wagon or wagon esque vehicles are not at the top of his list, but he won't rule them out.
