Race gas and o2 sensors

What do guys do on newer cars that run leaded race gas to keep from clogging up the o2 sensors, I've ran it mixed in a couple cars and the o2's were shot after a few times of doing that

the lead fucks with O2 sensors. unless you run unleaded fuel you'll always be swapping them. i would suggest always having backups with you.

I believe denso makes a sensor for leaded gas. I had one in my blue gtp way back when.

its only more lead resistant via more compounds in the ceramic "battery" that take longer before they are lead coated

the lead bonds and negates the compounds so there will never be a truly lead proof O2 sensor unless your testing oxygen content optically

That sucks, I'm torn between just running the car on 93 then race gas at the strip and running it on e85, I assume it would be able to make around 500whp on 93 but I also know I tend to get greedy with power and will likely want to run race gas all the time lol

yes but its octane rating is lower without tetraethylelead to bump it up
