I would do it. It would solve alot of issues living in IL with one. No more worry about keeping it garage queen in winter, plus all that kid/cargo room..... Hmmmm. I'd have to do a brandnew 4 door one though. Silver.

I could do that with my reg cab/long bed truck with a $160 leveling kit.

You will be doing the same on a house if you get into one without putting 20% or more down. And even if you do, goodbye to your equity. Plus you probably wont ever own that house outright unless you pay every payment for 30 years. Renting keeps your options open and also keeps the maintenance costs out of your pocket.
