i recently picked up a 05 R1, single owner, with 4200 miles on it. this is my third bike, first being a 04 Kawi 636, second being a 06 GSXR 1000. i then decided to build another car and got rid of the gsxr. im 25 and this is my 21 vehicle i have owned, lol, im hoping to keep this for a little while though. to be honest, i was looking for a 07+ gsxr 1000 but i traded my drag car (98 trans am) for the bike plus cash. i couldn't find anyone to bite on a good trade offer on a gsxr.
iv'e owned the bike for a few weeks now. I don't have to much in store for performance mods, as i don't race bikes, i leave that to cars. i plan on using this bike to get back into shows. currently just plasti dipping the bike to see how this stuff holds up. picked up a new tank pad, flush mounts, tinted windscreen, and integrated tail. also picked up a cheap ebay plate mount but it wont work with the bike being lowered so i need to find a different one.
anyways...onto the pics. here it is when i traded the car, which fucking sucked, sure was bummed to watch the car go with the amount of money and time i had spent in it.
