Yeah not sure about that one. The C5 I can see because with those mods it only makes probably 425 at the wheels. But the turbo 5.0 should SMOKE that c7 by bus lengths. And for the GTR, once again that car should smoke the C7. Just a bunch of bad drivers?

You cant be a bad driver in a roll racing GTR Unless he was sitting in the wrong gear.

But I mean guys are running low 11s in new GTRs...so who knows. I didnt pay attention to what they started the roll from....LS cars (I know not quite the same), pull super hard from a roll, you know that...so that might have helped if they were higher up.

Thats all I can figure is the vette was in a better gear. At some point in the video sounds like the C7 wanted a 2nd gear race, and the C5 wanted a third gear run. I bet the C7 was in 1st or 2nd for all of the runs.

LOL, love the guy in the Mustang screaming fuck as the vette passes him. Vettes are insane from a roll, no matter the generation.

Its funny because that 5.0 and C7 has got to be a drivers race in the quarter mile (with the edge probably going to the mustang). The 3.73's in the 5.0 were definitely a disadvantage in that race. I'd like to see the same run against a 5.0 without the steep gears out back, but the C7 would still have the weight/aero advantage obviously.

It should be mentioned that in both those races the vette driver missed 3rd gear. As well as the Mustang traps 117 in the quarter.

Roll racing doesn't mean everything...but the c7 seems to be a strong runner.

Me? I would think the vette has the advantage with HP/TQ, weight and aerodynamics. All pretty important in a roll race.

The second run the vette missed third and still went by the 5.0 at the top pretty easily.

I also saw a video of a tuned 5.0 that puts down 460 rwhp pull slightly on a 2013 GT500. So yeah...

My s2000 with a jump held back a 2013 corolla for a little bit. Once that tap-shift is enabled in those cars they turn into rockets!
