Hot Rod Power Tour 2014

So I've been wanting to do this forever. And since I have some vacation time coming I want to see about doing the long haul. There has been no release yet from Hot Rod and the actual stops but thier forums have came up with this.

I talked to the man from Chula Vista resort in Wisconson Dells yesterday that signed the contract and he confirmed this is the stops so far. Concord, N.C.,Knoxville,TN.,Charleston,WV,Norwalk,OH,to be determined,Bettendorf,IA,Wisconson Dells.

Which makes for quite the drive. 2400 miles to be exact. But if the route is true then that makes for a great oportunity to go to a few of them at least. I am excited to say the least

I really want to do the Power Tour one year. The desire is bad enough that I'm even considering doing it in my Focus ST so I can put my dog in the back hatch for the whole trip instead of kenneling her somewhere.

It would be epic use of my vacation time.

Doing it in the TransAm would be more fun, but I'm a wimpy man and would want Air Conditioning back in the car.

I definitely want to do the long haul when they get to the midwest leg again. Just doing the one stop in Champaign was a blast last year.

This is what I envisioned as well. Meet in Crown Point in the morning, drive to IA with the tour and spend the night. In the morning head to the Dells and drive back that night.
