Hennessy runs slow times, at least they have with every other car. I will bet we see high 11's out of the stock A6, mid 11's out of the stock M7. Tune, tire M7 may see a 10 by the end of the year.

except for this is a base model vette whereas the c5z06 was the highest performance vette you could buy in it's time. For a base vette to run low 12's on stock rubber that is saying something.

i can see a little but i honestly doubt they cut back power at WOT since the CAFE drive cycle never goes to wot.

id bet a tune would unlock lots of power "below the curve" as thats the one spot that helps the fleet mpg ratings

not much is "overbuilt" nowadays when the bean counters are looking for pennies

Being the first run Im sure it will improve as people learn how to launch them and what not. Even if it stays low 12s with all the other improvements it still makes it a great upgrade, even though the ass looks like a transformer. Vettes aren't made to be drag cars anyway.

I highly doubt this will be the norm. 114mph traps don't add up for the car's power/weight and mags have already trapped 118-119.

I am dead serious. Just cause everyone knows a guy that runs a fast time doesn't mean it's the norm. For instance at Byron I witnessed a stock c6 z06 run mid 12s at 116 consistently. A heavily modded c6 z06 was running mid 11s at 124. Beating magazine times is very possible, it's just not the norm IMO.
