My cousin got a 2003 Silverado and wants to mod it, so any suggestions on what to do and not do? So far he has bought some Trailblazer SS Rims and is now looking to get an intake..by the way, he is selling some 24s if anyone is interested lol

fuck all that. a simple 4" 90 degree rubber coupler from home depot and some pvc is all you need. and a 4" cone filter ofcourse

or buy a DIY kit.

headers.. get long tubes..
tune, yup.. call any local tuner
couple simple tranny upgrades
cal-trac traction bars for the back
take a leaf out of the rear pack
hunt down a tbss intake manifold
electric fans

then he couold do all the normal other ls stuff.. cam, rockers, pushrods, oil pump, underdrive pullies, billet timing set, injectors, fuel pump(s), ect...

Tbss mani has seen up to 20rwhp/tq gains on mild bolt-ons. Depends on how well its tuned in

It has more intake runner volume, for a "truck." If you went with a "car" intake you would be loosing low end torque

Yep, the stock truck intake drops off around 5200. The tbss one helps carry it to 6k+. It picks up power across the whole board.
