Looking to buy a Audi need tech input

I can get a great deal on a 03 Audi a6 S line 2.7 twin turbo. With 117k miles. I've owned vw's in the past and know the cost of repairs. If any techs can tell me what I should look for or warn me that it's a bad idea. Just need some input from someone that knows these cars. Thanks

Only thing I know is the turbos fail on those engines because of the placement. I've heard the engine needs to get pulled to replace them as well. I steered away from an a6 for that reason

Pass... The turbos are about 17k past when they usually take a dump and the engine needs to come out to perform that swap. You might get lucky. My buddy is an Audi tech and at 160k his turbos were still good but he was meticulous about letting the car idle before shutting it off. Most (all) don't do that.

That's not a good car to buy higher mileage in my opinion. Also it's ugly.
