Don't the T-Top cars have a center brace that would be nearly impossible to retrofit? I don't think it's as easy as chopping holes in your roof.

All the 4th gen f-bodies actually start off as t-top cars as they rolled down the assembly line the hard top cars were converted by getting a couple braces welded in and the hard top glued on if it stayed a t-top car the mounts would get spot welded in instead of the brace. So the center brace and pilot holes for all the t-top parts are all there on a hard top car. Only pain in the ass part is the mounts that hold the tops in place will not be present when you cut off the brace so you'll have to fab those up.
