My cousin is working on one of his monster garage projects again. He took an astro van and mounted it to a k5 blazer chassis. His last project was an open top truck limo.

There was actually a Cadillac in Joliet that was like that. Sort of amusing. I am gonna have to agree with the whole "use the van chassis" overall due to having seen/been in one or two really awesome lifted/solid axle AWDs but at the same time, that is an awesome ride. Should be really entertaining when he gets it done. They're great for utility if you're going out on a trail just due to the size.
