well i was driving normally and once i hit thrid i tried giving it some more gas.... none.... i pressed even more.... allmost to the point where i was flooring it.... nothing over 2500 RPM wouldnt shift into 4th till about 60-65MPh

any ideas what could be wrong?

Fuel Filter could be getting clogged at this age.... also could probably use a tune up if uve never done it.
