Cleaning inside of windshield

It seems like I can never clean the inside of my windshield without it being streaky and fogging up afterwards. Anybody have any tips or tricks on how to make it crystal clear? I have heard vinegar and news paper but never tried it. What products work best, what rags or towels??

Do you smoke?

Invisible glass is what I use and no fogging for me. But if you smoke it sticks to the glass and dirties it causing fogging.

But seriously I have the best success with blue lint free surgical towels and any good alcohol based window cleaner. I use an S&S product these days, I used to make my own with water, Prell shampoo and isopropyl alcohol.

I use Invisible Glass, and I still get fog on occasion. Though I wonder if it is because at one time I accidentally used RainX window cleaner on the inside. That stuff could leave a film.

I'm not a smoker. I do work in medical so maybe I should use from IPA and a couple lint free rags and see what happens.

Clean twice using new towels/newspaper each time. Streaking means you are not removing all the grime. Your towel probably gets dirty during the first cleaning and leaves residue. A fresh towel, paper or otherwise, and a second cleaning solve this problem.

One lint free rag to apply / clean and one to dry. I use Sparkle glass cleaner. It is a alcohol and ammonia free solution that the airforce came up with. They had issues in WWII with gun sights getting dirty and streaky. This company was able to buy the formula. Because it is ammonia free it is great for window tint, stainless, plexiglass, chrome and more. It will not etch or pit surfaces. Made here in the area too. Elgin I believe. You can find it at grocery stores, convenience stores as well as some auto parts stores.

People sweat by news papers. But when I read the news papers I have ink on my hands. What do you think ends up on your window? I think people recommended that before lint free rags were available.

Sparkle and stoners both work pretty well. It usually takes me cleaning the windshield 2-3 times to where im not streaking or smearing anything.

Isoprophyl alcohol/water mix and surgical towels on front glass. Invisible glass on tinted windows. Make sure you Clean going one way (up and down) and dry the opposite way (left to right).

start with invisible glass cleaner soak window good, use a coffee filter and wipe the window good and get all your edges good... then re spray window use a good micro fiber or news paper and you should be all good

If it's streaky EVERY time you clean it, it's obviously past its useful service life. I recommend a new windshield. For safety.
