Ha I was going say they would be another option for you, but figured you would be a hater for some reason. That said, I have never towed with one but have a feeling they would be not so fun with a 5000lb load. I would not want to do it on a regular basis. Hell, my beefed up 1/2 ton wasnt too keen on starting and stopping a 7500# boat + trailer.

Anybody tow anything with a jeep Cherokee sport?

3000lbs it alot of shit to jam in that trailer that size, I think you'll be fine.

All my furniture is made up of cinder blocks. :s00ls:

But yea that's what I was thinking. Plus the back would be stuffed with crap.

Guess ill add Cherokees to my list.

My 97 sport has a hitch but I figured I could never tow anything real heavy, I was actually thinking about taking it off since its all rusty, kinda surprised hearing about 5000lbs towing capacity lol

also judging how almost every XJ Ive ever seen has saggy rear leafs I can just picture them snapping in half with any real tongue weight back there

i replaced the leaf packs when i lifted mine

AND WOULD NEVER DO THAT AGAIN.
