That looks like a car from a video I saw awhile back from a burnout contest.... Tire blew and messed up the whole 1/4 really bad as well as blowing out the hatch.

The whole reason he did that is because he probably couldn't afford a hatch glass. Probably only had liability on the car, and is too poor to afford a used hatch glass or the like.

Anything to keep the heat in during the winter I guess.
