I went with the illegal package. 5% all the way around. When you get in the car, its like having blinders on your eyes now. Even in direct sunlight, you almost cant see in the car.

Where did you get it done at?

Carl Darling Window Tinting in McHenry. $240 for all. It was more than normal because of that bigass rear window. He did a perfect job, and it is all one piece with the black vinyl on the top to cover the dot matrix dots. Looks like a real pro job. I had him do the tight gaps on the side windows too, so there is almost no gap between the tints and the top of the side windows. Very great job.

Yeah this is my first venture into tints this dark. I had 20% all the way around on my GT500, and it was nice. But not dark enough for me. Here is a pic of my old GT500 right before it got traded.

Yeah, 20% is pretty good, not dark enough for me but it works.

I've been running 5% on all my cars I've had over the years for awhile now. I recently got the front windows of my Explorer done 20% (to match the factory rear tint), its just not dark enough. I'm thinking I'll take it back and get 5% over the rear factory tint and then 5% of the front two. lol

I am going to need the tint redone on my mustang. The back window is wrinkling up and the front windows are peeling up on the bottom from the window going up and down.

5% is too dark for my tastes. It's tough to see at night with dark tint. My car has 20% all over

We will see tonight. One thing I remember about the shelby with the 20% was the reflection of the gauges on the drivers side window at night. I normally never had to lower the brightness of the gauges until then on any car, but at that point it was a must. It was like having a second set of gauges in your left eye. Im sure the same is going to happen with the vette. I can bring them way down if needed. But the privacy is going to be nice. Now I can jackoff in the middle of a busy mall parking lot and nobody will know.....lol
