convertibles that looks better than their hard top counterparts

a photo from facebook a few days ago brought this to my attention- the new camaro looks better as a convertible by quite a bit than it does as a hardtop IMO.

what other cars share this unusual quality of looking better as a convertible... it is a rarity to me it seems and has left me scratching my head.

I think most late 50's/early 60's land yachts look better in a vert then a hard top (though the hardtop versions still look good).

I'm not sure there is any modern can in the last 25 or so years where the convertible looks better than the hardtop.

I will say there are some T-top cars that look better than the hardtop.

The last gen BMW 3 series looked identical in convertible or hardtop form. Usually your convertible looks great with the top down but put it up and it looks like ass. The 3 series had a retractable hard top that made the car look really similar to the 2 door coupe.
