04 burban 2500 w/ 6.0L - HD hood, 3in body lift, class 5 hitch, and helper bags in the rear

98 trans am - purple, t-tops, automatic and stock - don't know why i bought it, other then the wife said ok - currently in the slow process of being repainted due to typical GM paint falling off vehicles problems

Helper bags are sweet. I had them in my truck for when I put the sand bags in there for plowing. They also helped when I put 2500lb of landscaping rock in it multiple times while redoing the back yard a few years ago. lol It held it up but the brakes were not happy with that situation with 2 adults in the cab too. lol

did you have them with a compressor built into your truck or did you have to pump them up manually.

Yup, I'm a fan.

I have helpers in my Montero Sport because it has soft/weak springs. I run about 1-2 psi all the time and they keep it level when loaded up.

I pump mine manually. I only go beyond the few psi when I load it to max.

You don't even need all that. a DC compressor or even a battery compressor works well enough.
