just in general but better motor mounts solved most of my issues with fwd wheel hop.

Seems like you guys have way more options though with rotated transmission mounts and other fun stuff. Get it fixed early unless you like cracking transmissions

for starters, a big mod that a lot of the cobalt guys do is the ingalls torque dampener.

it remedies a lot of stuff, one of them being wheel hop.

the next thing you can do, i forget who makes them but there are aftermarket tubular control arms that are fully adjustable as well.

Fuck the ingalls. Rotated mounts ftw. Different driveshaft angle = no wheel hop. This is the reason the turbo ones launch way better.

Best friend had one for a few years, went through most of the big mods , only thing he didn't do was go turbo or put a TVS on it. I've driven many others and read a lot on message boards - I nearly bought one. An ITD is one of the best bang for the buck mods you can possibly buy.

And I don't know how they're regarded in the Cobalt/Ion world but ZZP has a big aftermarket for these cars.

After realizing how cheap these are I started digging around and found Saturn ION RedLine Forums, which is a large resource for these cars and they have great sticky threads.
