Of the 2013 Gen Coupe, Mustang V6 with performance package, Camaro V6, GTI, Speed3, WRX, etc, I'd take the FR-S. Haven't driven the ST or Veloster Turbo yet. Focus ST would be the biggest question. Rear-wheel drive FTW, however.

what all makes you say that bru? just that much fun to drive?

Yup. It's a blast to drive and balanced like a much more expensive sports car. Think along the lines of a less-powerful 370Z. Went on the drive event at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch outside of Vegas and did road course and autox plus drift lessons with Scion's drift driver Ken Gushi.

Definitely needs more power but it has enough to be fun. It's big up front and has more storage space than an MX-5 in back, which it's very similar to as far as driving character.

Could be. You won't find steering wheel audio controls, sunroof or heated seats in the FR-S. It's very much about the driving experience and doesn't try to be fancy or innovative as far as interior niceties. It only has one trim level and no options except the auto trans and BeSpoke upgraded stereo option with Pandora and other infotainment stuff. The rest are accessories.
