Well sixty footing sucked

1.96 and above all night
Tire psi set at 17.5
No build up in boost at launch
Short burnout to keep the eaton cool
Stock suspension

Now launching techniques

Long burnout tried to boost it up and it felt like I was leaving in second

Short burnout left from idle and it squared ( I think this is my technique to launch) just need traction bars I think

Tires nitto nt05r . These tires even worth a ****. No one with nitto's can hook up at our track.

My iat2 crossing the traps where at 112 so porting the eaton helped at shit load.

I'm only trapping 101 at 13.3 tho with 2.04 sixty foot.

What I'm going to do myself!!

Traction bars shocks in rear
Cooling fans when I can for heat exchanger

Goals increase mph and cut 60 foot down to 1.8x consistent

I must say tho Srt-8 jeeps were in the high 13s and low 14s tonight

A 6.1 hemi with a 3 ltr supercharger only ran a 12.5. At 112

That being said beat a c5 corvette the Srt-8 jeep a turbo ss truck

Truck fell on its face do to two long burnout runs

Sorry for the ****ed up post I'm tired thinking out loud

To chill off between runs? That's a tough one, especially with it getting hotter now. I always just see people throwing ice bags on there intakes between runs.

I remember this one time I went to 41 and this Mark VII was running 12.5's all day, kinda the whole :wtf: factor going on. Then we walked in the pit and he had the hood popped w/ice on the intake. There sat a Vortech blower, the thing was a pure sleeper.

Methanol is pointless for the eaton. Your intercooler is cooling the blower down anyways. Some say after the intercooler may have a benefit with methanol. Who tuned it? I would start with checking that out. A 13.3 really isn't that bad for a heavy truck. If your brake boosting it, drop it into first and manually shift it to 2nd. You can jump your intercooler pump while you're sitting waiting for your next run so the fluid continues to circulate while not running. A lot of Cobra's do it while waiting too.
