Do these have a reserve? Some of those prices don't seem unreasonable.

I'm still surprised that they're selling them because of the liability risks if something happened. I thought I remember reading once that the project cars were crushed.

Back when Stacy David was still hosting "Trucks," there was an article about him buying all of his project cars or something because suits wanted to crush the cars. That's all I remember, which could be incorrect.

Yeah I remember that episode. He was doing a flashback on all the past builds, like the V8 S10 Xtreme and so forth. He said that they were all crushed because of the liability issues.

I LOVE that Lemans and Nova. Whenever the Powerblock would show the huge warehouse where all the project cars were kept, finished or unfinished, they all looked so sad just sitting there collecting dust.

Jesus christ:

Can you increase your gas mileage, and your horse power?. That was the premise behind our “Lean Green Machine” project. This 1994 RS Camaro, 305 TBI, automatic produced 144 hp / 224 torque / 20.3 mpg on our chassis Dynojet. When finished, it made 179 hp / 259 torque / 22.9 mpg. That’s an additional 35 hp, 35 ftp and 2.7 mpg. Here’s what we did it with.
Hypertech power chip, a power plate spacer from CFM Technologies, along with plug wires, coil, ignition module, cap/rotor from Accel. Also installed was Spectre cold air intake kit and a Taylor battery relocation kit, a B&M shift improver kit and lock-up control kit were installed, along with Hedman Shorty headers, stock replacement catalytic converter and Heartthrob exhaust system. Also, included was an electric radiator fan upgrade from Summit Racing and a Meziere electric water pump. The stock crankshaft was contour edged, balanced and polished. The cylinders were honed and the rods resized, new bearings were added. A new Peformer Plus Edelbrock camshaft was installed, along with a double roller timing set, Speed Pro pistons, Federal Mogul oil pump/pickup, Edelbrock springs and hyldraulic liters, plus Summit Racing pushrods and roller rockers. The stock intake manifold was replaced with a new Edelbrock Performer RPM. We also added stock replacement TBI fuel injectors and a new Pioneer harmonic balancer. Finally, the Camaro was fitted with new Yokahoma Avid tires.
