Is their a way connect a mp3 to car without a stereo? Just to the speakers?
I been looking around and all i can find are FM transmitters.

I hooked my mp3 player to my aftermarket amplifier with a simple RCA to 3.5mm adapter when they stole my stereo.

Need some form of amplification for it though.

Why would anyone steal a face plate? That's weird. You may be able to find a face plate on Ebay or from the manufacturer.

If not, go to Crutchfield.com or some other stereo shop and buy an inexpensive radio with an MP3 hook up and get a harness adapter kit to plug it into your car. It's a simple install and plug and play if you get the harness adapters. It's the easiest and not super expensive way to get your tunes working again. You can find stereos under $100.

I really don't want to spend any money for it. I was just hoping you could Buy some cheap wires and do it your self or, something like that.

Check Crutchfield, too. They include harness adapters for free if you buy a stereo from them. Buying an adapter yourself will probably be $20 or so and the kits make the hook up a whole lot easier.

Honestly..i would never recommend the shitty brands, but a buddy just replaced his DD pos with a BOSS stereo (since he didn't wanna spend much money just wanted sound) for $30 bucks..and it actually sounds decent.
