do the calipers float or sit solid

find out and let us know

Do you know the difference?

Easiest way to explain it would be, fixed have Pistons on both sides of the rotor, and floating have the piston(s) on one side of the rotor and the pad on the other side is "pulled" into the rotor.....

Most cars have Floating, but being that they are Brembos, they are probably fixed, thus the common recommendations of lubing the slides and new anti-rattle clips wont help (since those parts don't exist in a fixed setup)

They prob use napa brake pads. Those just suck ass and squeek. Every car I have ever put NAPA brake pads on had a brake squeeking issue. Switched to a different brand and problem solved.

Very true, many dealerships use parts store parts, if it is under warranty, let the dealership keep replacing it, if he is paying for the pads, maybe try a set of posi-quiets or similar
