308 is the max i'd go which is .040" over i belive. .060" is pushing it. the cyl walls are too thin. i've seen some guys do 310ci but i wouldnt suggest hitting it with alot of nitrous or boost. for an all motor car it may be fine. but thats basically at the limit.
No need to go more than .030" over, which is a 306 with a stock stroke. If you are looking for more cubes, stroke it. 310 wouldnt make much more power than a 306, the reduced strength isnt worth the ~10hp(at most) youd get out of it.
