Question is not because of any cooling issues but more for the track.
I really dont go to the track much but this year I plan to go to all the rsd's . Someone told me to get all the coolant out just in case something happens at the track. I guess it is a bitch to clean and they get pretty mad at you.
Has anyone just run straight water in their system?
it sound pretty plain to me since there are no lubricants in plain water compared to coolant.
just straight distilled water works fine
I run that every summer with no issues, then just drain some out and pour in some coolant before the cold winter months, then completely flush out and refill with straight distilled in spring, wash, rinse, repeat.
Water wetter lowers the boiling point of straight water, and has better heat dissipation. Use 2 bottles because the large capacity, so it's not so diluted.
