no spark... PLEASE HELP!!

I just installed a new motor in my 03 gt and i made sure that everything was connected to where it was supposed to go and checked to make sure i have fuel pressure but for some reason im not getting any spark...?!?! what could be causing this?

also what is this sensor?! the one with the brass on it... its the only thing on my trans that i dont have a connection for... i did a t56 swap... this is on the driverside of the trans

i think thats the reverse lockout solenoid? i did a T56 swap and dont have that connected either.

thats the reverse solenoid.without it hooked up you will have to muscle the car into reverse.easy fix ,you can get the connector from auto parts store.and wire it to ground and the hot wire on the brake pedal.

Double check harness and make sure completely plugged in or pins are not pushed out?

when you crank the car is the theft light flashing non stop while cranking?

if you forgot to put it on, then yes you will have to pull the timing cover, you can get it from ford but there are two styles depending on which tooth pulley is on the crank. its kinda hard to explain, shoot me an email and i can call you tomorrow to explain better?

i just had a friend come over and yeah it was that ring it wasnt put on and he said he has both style rings at his house he just has to find out which one goes on my car.. so hopefully i get this thing put back together tomorrow.... thanks mitch
