aftermarket amp and sub power issue

Got the bitch all hooked up and it powers up but the light is not as bright as it should be and dims when bass hits and it is not much bass at all. We took the sub and amp and hooked it up in my buddies Acura and the bitch pounds and the indicator light on amp nice and bright.

Gonna hook up the volt meter in a bit and see how much voltage my power wire is delivering.

Sounds like a bad ground. Where did you ground it? Also try unhooking the sub from the amp and see if its still dim.

Grounded it to the plate/bolt that holds down the seat belt. I also sanded it down to bare metal to ensure proper contact.

Wrong tapped the RCA's at the wrong location and was getting signal from tweeters. Dee Dee Dee!!!

All rewired and pounding like the Mach 460 should have been from the factory.
