I may E85 the Mach1

Being my built engine has 9.75:1 compression and Im gonna run about 18psi through the ported Eaton, Im thinking it might be beneficial to set it up for the high octane E85.
This way I can maximize its power potential on the street, and NOT have to worry about race gas when Im at the track with it.

dont see why not, only thing is the inconsistency with the gas and that it is not true e85 but more than often e75-e80 at best........which is still not bad.

How does e85 work on higher compression engines? Just out of curiosity. Same thing, just need a fuel system capable of delivering 40% more or is there more to it?

So a sumped stock tank with a Bosch 044 pump and a BAP should do the trick?
60 or 80lb injectors?

are you converting to return style or keeping returnless? Bosch 044 cant run on returnless setup as it will burn up..

if we go with return style and run 60psi base or similar, we can get away with 60s.

it works like alcohol. Burns cooler, less chance of detonation, and the obvious advantages of higher octane.

Im gonna go return style in case I go bigger in the future.

As for the twin 255's advise, its noted. But... Lidio from Alternative Auto just put a single Bosch 044 with a BAP on a KB Marauder with progressive nitrous and made over 800rwhp with no issues.
