Thinking about going sra?

Will a rear axle from a 98 Cobra fit in a 03 cobra? What else am I looking at for the conversion? My budy is giving me it for free and it's complete will it work?

i'm pretty sure that the overall length is gonna be different. From what I've researched on doing sra is that to keep same rear end track width you need 8.8 from a 99-04 GT/mach 1. I know what you have will go in, there will be a slight width difference (i think like 3/4 inch or so).. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this

that is correct, I have a earlier housing and it allows me to tuck in my tires a little bit more than if I had a 99-04 housing
