Those tires probably aren't great for this test. They need heat in them to grip well and you won't get that in a 20 second figure eight contest.

This is just the cars they tested in 2011. They might not have tested a ZR1

I agree. Car & Drivers Lightning Lap for 2011 is supposedly in February's issue. Ive always thought that was a much better test.
