Very interesting news about the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro coming out of the oft first-to-know Camaro5 forums. Seems a handful of their number were offered the chance to tour the Mesa Arizona hot weather testing grounds and managed to see a couple of Camaros up close and personal. When asking engineers some questions, interesting things can come up, such as the possibility of a supercharger option, an independent rear suspension, an inferred weight between 3,300 lbs and 4,000 lbs. and what's this — flappy paddle shifters? No way will they ever get that shit down to under 3500 pounds. That thing looks like a porker, especially now with all of the laws about front and side impact, they have a lot of sheet metal and a lot of bracing all around. Plus I doubt they will be using any carbon fiber or much aluminum because they want to keep cost low...4000 FTW

bet its about the same as last gen of fbodies in the end. and supercharger option, old news, they talked of that as the ls9 was announced, it will most likely have that option of a detuned ls9
