Looking for some extra power from your 2010 Nissan 370Z or Infiniti G37? You may want to turn to Stillen. The California tuner recently launched a supercharger kit for both cars that helps Nissan 3.7-liter V-6s crank out a monstrous 515 hp.
In designing the new supercharger kit, Stillen took every precaution to make sure the engine could handle it. The internals are already strong enough to take the added boost, but the cooling system needed to be increased to keep the engine at a normal operating temperature. To control this, Stillen uses an air-to-water intercooler integrated into the new high-flow cast aluminum intake manifold, along with additional oil and transmission coolers.
Also included in the supercharger kit are larger 600-cc fuel injectors, a high-output fuel pump, Y-pipe cold air intake, and a revised engine computer. All these changes create an incredible 515 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque -- a significant upgrade, considering the six-cylinder usually produces around 332 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque.
To provide complete ease of mind, the Stillen supercharger package does come with a full engine warranty, and has reportedly been tested in all conditions to ensure it can handle everything from track driving to rush hour traffic in Los Angeles. Unlike many supercharger kits that require dealer installation, Stillen designed this kit to be an easy install. It comes with detailed step-by-step instructions on how to install the supercharger kit, and many components come pre-assembled.
