Gridlife is running Wheel to Wheel racing this year

Mid-Ohio races happened this weekend I was covering an Ultimate tournament so I missed it but they put out some great livestreams/video of the races.

Gridlife has mostly been HPDE and Time attack, This will be the first year they run a W2W class.

MAY 30 - JUNE 2 (GLTC Festival Cup) Gingerman Raceway
AUG 3-4 (GLTC Stopwatch Classic) Blackhawk Farms Raceway
SEP 7-8 (GLTC Elkhart Classic) Road America

Rules are here. But it is basically a HP to Weight class. You dyno how much hp your car makes and that determines how much weight you can have. Some balances are made for type of engine/forced induction, fwd vs rwd, what tires you are using, if you have aero (wings/front air dam) so there should be a spot for most any car out there.

actually really impressed with the commentating . and that was some really close racing between 3 really different cars.

It's crazy how big gridlife has gotten. I remember at a WMHM those guys were talking about it and now it's one of the biggest events of the year. It's only going to get better for the people that have the funds and time for it.
