Yeah old cars suck to drive, but that can be fixed with throwing cash at it lol. Schwartz, Roadster Shop, etc have replacement chassis's. A friend of mine (you probably saw it at Eric's last year) just took his 57 to Roadster Shop to have a new chassis installed. I'm curious to see how the car handles with modern components.

The 2014 GT500 had a base price of $55,445. When a base GT was $35,300. According to Autotrader.

A 2018 GT cost $35,300 and a premium is $39,355. So significant price over a GT. But the GT350 was like $56,000. So still $11K over the price of the GT350. Not surprised by that price. But man, a $67,000 base price mustang is kind of hard to swallow. It better perform!

Actually not that bad at all. Will we actually be able to get them at $67k, or will these have crazy dealer markups for years?

I thought for sure this would be $75k+

67 base isnít bad plus gas guzzler and a few options it should be around 70-71k plus the crazy dealer mark ups for the first 2 years

I would bet that you wont be able to touch one for under 95k for the first year. All the 70 year old retired Shelby blowhards will line up to pay 100k for these things.

Cheaper than a Demon but it remains to be seen how good the DCT really is.

IMO the Demon is the top of the totem pole but can the GT500 be the absolute best jack of all trades for less money than a Demon?

Wut? The Demon is not even close to being a "jack of all trades' car. It is literally a one trick pony built for one thing, straight line acceleration.

The gt500 will absolutely be a better "jack of all trade" car than a Demon.
