From what I remember reading I thought they'd made some not insignificant changes to the MKV engine vs the BMW engine as-was such as a closed deck block. Hopefully they will take power better. In the interim I'm betting a lot of experimentation and a few kabooms.

In terms of the TT stuff, the down side was that they were supposedly hard on the second turbo (e.g. snapping shafts.) I could see better computers assisting "pre spool" helping with that potentially. I could see that being a big part, possibly clearances for twins and in the long term cost. It may also be that the area under the curve is enough that people don't care in a lot of situations. Car OEMs did a lot to get boost to come in quicker back in the day and made compromises to do it.

It's funny the JDM connection must have dried up. I thought my buddy got his for 1500 or so. Now they're holy fuck expensive like 7-10K on ebay.

Dual Clutch boxes are the way of the future. Toyota/BMW got that one right. I mean, the Supra was supposed to be a driver's car but it was also supposed to be extremely high tech too.

well the issue with the 4 cylinder is two fold.
On the "con" side it will really hurt the image of the supra as a halo car. What would you think if corvettes came in a 4 cylinder? You would no longer think "ooh bad ass car" you would check the markings for the 4 cylinder version the same way we do for mustang and camaro (v6, 4 whatever).
On the "pro" side the 4 cylinder will have a lower entry price, meaning more will be sold which in turn means more aftermarket support for body modification, suspension, and even engine.

I feel like every review has been paid, even my guys at speed academy looked like they were saying things that were forced. Idk. Maybe I'm wrong, but it's a piece of shit.

Also to speculate more on the PAID ADVERTISEMENT it seems as though they all came out at the same time.
